Hearts in the Right Place — Obama and Romney on Growth

CNN had this to say about President Obama’s speech in Decorah, Iowa yesterday:

“The president said he will release a detailed plan to boost the economy, create jobs and control the country’s deficit when Congress returns to Washington in September”

Mitt Romney’s response:

“He is more interested in campaigning in swing states than working to solve the economic crisis that is crushing the middle class.”

Partisanship aside, both candidates say they want to promote jobs and help the middle class.  Great!  Now can we please see the plans?

It will be interesting to see if anyone is bold enough to be listening to Ken Rogoff!

(By the way, I was in Decorah earlier this year — it is a charming town!)
